Family Farm in Gray, Georgia: Bramble Bottom Farms

Bramble Bottom Farms, a family farm established in 2020 in Gray, Georgia, emerged after a transformative chapter in our family’s story. A few years prior, my husband was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer. After he triumphed over the odds, I inquired about his lifelong dream. To my surprise, he revealed his desire to own a farm, a passion nurtured during his childhood helping his parents on their family farm in Wisconsin.  

In 2019, we began to make that dream a reality here in Middle Georgia. We fenced our first pasture, welcomed a few mini donkeys, and planted a small fruit orchard. Not long after, we added another pasture along with a chicken coop and run. Over the years, Bramble Bottom Farms has expanded to include a berry patch, a lavender garden, and (coming soon) a cut-flower patch.  

Today, Bramble Bottom Farms is a serene, family-owned farm in Jones County, GA, where we blend creativity, nature, and hands-on experiences. Working on the farm has become a grounding and joyful aspect of our lives, and we cherish sharing this space with our community.
