Hello, my name is Tia Litke, and I hold a B.A. in Art Education from the University of West Georgia. With thirty years of experience as an art teacher, I have worked with a diverse range of age levels, from kindergarten to adults. (I am certified with the State of Georgia to teach from kindergarten through the A.P. level.) Now, I am excited to embark on a new adventure by offering art workshops and exploring my own creations, including custom artwork and mural projects.

So, here we go!

Art is my life! It is a talent that I received as a gift from God. It has served as my way to express thoughts, emotions, fears, and beliefs, while also helping me manage stress. I hope to teach people that art education is for everyone and that experimentation with supplies is just as important as the results. When we stretch out and commit to trying new mediums, techniques, and ideas, we grow, and participating in this journey as a group is always more enjoyable! I believe that every bit of knowledge gained increases a person’s potential. I love watching the light of creativity come to life in the eyes of my students and seeing their confidence build as they embrace new knowledge.

To me, there is nothing more exciting than experimenting with art. Art is about having fun and enjoying the experience. I hope you will join me in my new journey!
